I would say that it can light up objects with in 50 to 60 meters but once crossing 60 meters the light starts to fade away, well i guess i should have ordered xhp90 instead of p70 for my jungle use as I need a range more than 100 meters. Overall good product for the price. All thanks to a wonderful seller for prompt shipping got the product in 20 days with good packing.
